
The Seattle Times publishes a devastating critique of the 737MAX and the dangers for the 777-9
The article is a stunning critique of Boeing, it’s processes, and the way Boeing and the FAA have operated.
It’s biggest conclusion was that Boeing wangled being able to declare the 737MAX a derivative of the original 1960’s design, making it immune from standards required for new-design aircraft.
It also claims that the very same processes have been used with the 777-9 and its design and certification processes should be reviewed.
