Boeing looses MAX orders, Airbus gains nothing

Boeing lost a substantial number of 737 MAX orders in February, and more are expected in March.

AirCanada cancelled 11 MAX aircraft, other airlines and leasing companies that wanted to order larger aircraft like the 787 (Oman Air being one), cancelled their MAX orders for Dreamliners at roughly 10 MAX for every 4. Overall Boeing lost 28 net orders.

Airbus didn’t loose any orders but it has been told that airlines are planning on asking for extensive A330neo, and A350 deferments. Boeing is facing the same threats but airlines are too uncertain right now to actually decided what they need to do.
