Korean start up Air Premia orders more 787’s

South Korean start up airline Air Premia has ordered more 787-9’s.

Earlier this year the airline in waiting ordered three through ALC and has now ordered another five direct from Boeing.

It’s expected to order another two as its original target was ten aircraft.

The airline expects to have three operational at launch in September 2020 and then add two per year.

It’s first long haul will be regional, with LAX and San Jose Minetta as its first trans-Pacific routes coming in 2021.

The airline plans to offer mid-priced tickets with a higher quality balance than a basic LCC.
