Qantas has revealed VH-ZNJ, it’s latest Boeing 787-9 that’s going to be one of the trial aircraft for ultra long range direct flights from London to Sydney.
The aircraft carries its 100th anniversary livery which happens next year. The livery will form the basis of several celebratory events and advertising materials, as well as aircraft liveries.
Interestingly the aircraft is named Longreach, a nod to the name given to the Extended Range 744ER’s the airline still operates but will withdraw soon.
The aircraft is the airlines tenth 787-9.
