La Compagnie set to withdraw 757’s by end of October

Boutique business class only airline La Compagnie, which operates form Paris Orly to Newark, New Jersey, serving New York city, amended its timetables from October 27th 2019 to show only A321neo operating on its services.

With a pair of A321neo’s exclusively on the route from the start of the winter timetable, the 757-200’s will be withdrawn.

The airline took delivery of the first 76 seater A31neo on the 18 May 2019, F-HBUZ, with a second due in the coming months. The aircraft are leased from GECAS.

The pair of 74 seat 757-200’s, F-HCIE & F-HTAG are split over the summer Nice-Newark and Paris-Newark routes, however that route is unlikely to stay over winter.

F-HCIE is quite elderly at 25.3 years, while F-HTAG is 19.2 years.

F-HTAG has flown fro Iberia, Air Astana, AtlasJet, Ethiopian, Saudia, Titan Airways and Icelandair.

F-HCIE flew for Brittania (G-BYAT), Thomosonfly and Thomson Airways.
