Azul’s first A330neo a first for the Americas

The first A330neo has been delivered to Azul Linhas Aéreas, making it the first airline in the Americas to fly the A330-900. It’s the first of 15 A330neo ordered by leasing company Avolon.

The A330neo will be used by the airline to expand its international route network between Brazil, Europe and the United States. Powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, the A339 is fitted with a three-class cabin with 34 business class,  96 ‘Economy Xtra’ (more leg room but not premium economy) and 168 standard economy class seats.
