Hawaiian retire last 767, Cargojet the last 727

Cargojet retired the last of its 727F’s on December 28th the company has announced. Its been in service with them since 2003 and is 35 years old with nearly 42,000 landing cycles, and was originally delivered to Eastern Airlines.

Hawaiian Airlines also retired its last 767 on Monday, the last flight was from Sacremento. The aircraft are now effectively replaced with A330’s and future orders for new aircraft rest with the Dreamliner and Airbus A321neoLR’s.
