Oneworld announced yesterday that Royal Air Maroc will become the 14th full member of the alliance.
Having lost AirBerlin and with the potential of Qatar leaving, this comes at a good time for the group. RAM Express will become an affiliate member.
It’s also the first time Oneworld will manage the integration of the airline itself- normally a sponsor airline is appointed.
RAM carried 7.3 million passengers in 2017 and operates a fleet of 55 aircraft, including Boeing 737-800’s, 787-8’s, 767’s, and Embraer E190’s. RAM Express operates five ATR 72s.
The airline has plans to grow to 13.5 million passengers in the next five years.
