Turkish Airlines continues to profit dramatically from its global expansion, not least in the freight area where the continued – and seemingly irresolvable – argument between Qatar and its neighbours has led to a huge spike in air shipments, much of it on Turkish Airlines Cargo, as the countries government continues to support Qatar.

Even beyond that Turkish has started the move to the new Istanbul Airport and the freight opportunities in what is currently a thrieving market, are looking set to continue, as freight deals with yet another booming year.

The order for three new 777F’s adds to an order for three made a few months ago. Turkish Aoirlines has made it plain it wants to be the worlds largest flag carrier cargo fleet.
