New low cost airline for the US to use CS300’s

David Neeleman who started JetBlue and pushed Brazilian airline Azul to new heights, has raised $100m to start a new all CS300 low cost airline – tentatively named Moxy.

The word moxy has fallen out of use, but was used in the 1600-1700’s extensively to describe anyone with cheek, common sense and daring, prepared to take a risk.

Neeleman is said to be impressed by the real world effectiveness of AirBaltic and Swiss CS300’s – their economy and reliability. Once Airbus have built the final assembly plant in the US for CSeries, which could be as soon as 12-18 months, CSeries will have little to stop it being successful, if it can be sold at the right price – something Airbus have sworn to make possible.
