airBaltic orders 30 more Bombardier CS300

airBaltic has ordered 30 firm CS300’s in addition to its current order. On top of that it has placed an option for another 30 aircraft it hopes to be able to take up by 2024.

The airline is planning a major expansion across Europe and will be the first airline to base its entire operations on the aircraft as a single type.

This is a major result for Bombardier and will go a long way to convince others that it offers a viable alternative to Airbus and Boeing, as well as Embraer.
