Condor to make wide body fleet order before years end

Thomas Cook Group owned airline Condor is to make an order to replace its ageing fleet of 767’s by years end.

The fleet of 16 aircraft averages 22.7 years at present and maintaining them is becoming more costly.

The airline is looking at both A333neo and 787-9’s as its primary options. It’s also willing to examine the possibility of sub-5 year old used aircraft.

Ideally the airline would like to complete the programme to replace by winter 2021.
