Air Asia X “won’t buy too expensive A350’s”

Tony Fernandez, joint CEO of the airline, told journalists yesterday that Air Asia X will not be buying the Airbus A350 because it’s too expensive. The airline had ordered ten of the aircraft.

The airline is looking to potentially transfer the order to A330neo and more A320neo’s.

Recently speculation the airline would opt for 787’s was refuted by the airline who said they’re sticking with Airbus.
