Turkish Airlines orders 60 wide bodies

Turkish Airlines has ordered up to 60 planes from manufacturers Airbus and Boeing, The flag carrier announced Friday.

Executives signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with each company for 25 aircraft each, A359’s and 787-9’s, with options on five more of each type.

The airline plans to, take delivery of the first six jets in 2019, 14 in 2020, 10 in 2021, 12 in 2022, 11 in 2023 and the last seven in 2024.
