One minute it’s staying then it’s going, then it’ll be part of Eurowings then branded Brussels Airlines but integrated into Eurowings operationally.
Lufthansa seems to have decided to end any speculation, removing both its CEO and CFO. Brussels Airlines pilots are on the point of striking and morale isn’t good.
Speculation is rife that the brand will be dropped and the entire organisation simply brought inside Eurowings. After all what’s the point of a separate brand that isn’t viable alone? Eurowings can manage the staff, pilots and the aircraft at lower cost.
Either way Lufthansa seems to have lost patience with its Belgian management and is doing something to put an end to the problems, restore moral and ensure everyone is happy, including customers.
