The International Trade Commission ruled against Boeing on Friday, striking down the 300% tariffs imposed by the US Government at the behest of Boeing on the CSeries twin engine jet.
The ITC said that there was no evidence whatsoever that Boeing’s business was damaged by Bombardier.
There is no appeal against the ruling, all four of the ITC panel members voted against Boeing.
This now clears the way for Bombardier to sell the aircraft in the US without hindrance.
The ITC said that Boeing’s argument the CS100 was a competitor against the 737 Max 7 was not credible.
