Air Seychelles hands back its A330’s due to foreign competition

Air Seychelles has been operating flights three times a week to Paris and Antananarivo in Madagascar with the aircraft, which are relatively new.

However following a far sighted review the airline has decided it simply cannot compete with the now ten strong airlines flying to the exotic tropical islands in the Indian Ocean from Europe.

With Edelweiss and British Airways adding to a host of major European carriers, the pressure on prices has made the airline take the drastic decision. It will spend its resources on intra-island and regional flights where it has little or no competition.
