HiFly to the rescue

Air New Zealand has wet leased two aircraft from Portuguese charter company HiFly to help maintain its timetable after Dreamliner engine problems forced unscheduled maintenance, believed to be related to fan blade wear.

The Airbus 330-300 and Airbus 340-300 are chartered from Portuguese company Hi Fly. They are expected to begin operating some Auckland-Sydney and all Auckland-Perth services by late this week.
