easyJet has opened up one million seats for flights to and from Berlin Tegel, January 5th to March 18th 2018.
Announced routes include four German domestic connections: Berlin with Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich and Stuttgart.
easyJet is adding fifteen international destinations, running flights up to five times a day to key cities like Vienna and Zurich, along with regular connections to popular destinations like Palma de Mallorca and Catania.
The airline carries more than 5.3 million people to and from Berlin each year from its existing base at Berlin Schoenefeld. That opened in 2004 and now flies to 51 destinations.
easyJet Berlin Tegel operations are still waiting for regulatory approval of easyJet’s transaction with AirBerlin’s administrators.
The launch of the airlines winter flight program is being accelerated by easyJet utilising some wet lease aircraft alongside its own.
Summer routes to take effect from Tegel at the end of March will be announced as soon as they can be finalised.
