Airbus have today announced a massive deal for 430 aircraft with US low cost airline investment company Indigo Partners.
Frontier, Wizz and Volaris are the likely end users as they constantly aim to keep young aircraft so that maintenance costs remain at a minimum. JetStart is also to get some of the aircraft, they began operating in Chile and South America earlier this year, and ate backed by Indigo Partners.
273 of the order are A320neos and the other 157 all A321neos.
More orders for sos with Egyptair and FlyDubai are expected that could top another 200 aircraft.
The sale is the final fling and feather in the cap of 67 year old Airbus chief salesman John Leahy who retires in December.
