Like so many final 747 flights we’ve got used to in the last few years, it was a historic moment. The end of an era that’s spanned 40 years and transformed air travel, not it has to be said, that US airlines really ever bought into the 747 as much as airlines like BA.
So there we go. Only Delta left now and that’s not long away.
