Primera Air gets Canadian route rights

Primera Air, a Scandinavian Airline is set to bring Canadian routes to its portfolio of operations out of the U.K. and France. With flights due to commence from the U.K. in May and June 2018.

The airline has 8 A321LR’s on order and will operate routes from Birmingham (BHX) and Stanstead to New York, on start up. The BHX New York flights will be free of competition as United leaves BHX after 21 years continuous operations, leaving a six month gap in the service. The airline will also now operate flights from Paris to Toronto.
