Fly Niki to get Lauda again?

Ex Formula-1 world champion and businessman Niki Lauda, who originally founded his second airline (the first was Lauda Air), Fly Niki, which was sold to AirBerlin as Niki, is in a consortium bid with Thomas Cook Group/Condor to buy back the Austrian subsidiary of AirBerlin.

Niki isn’t subject to the German bankruptcy protection and has been made available for sale. The consortium is also aiming to bid for other elements of the fast failing AirBerlin group.
