Thai set to accept first Boeing 787-9

With its first 787-9 due to be delivered shortly, Thai continues to modernise its fleet. The arrival of A359’s and 787-9’s will make it possible to finally retire the 747-400’s left on the fleet.

Thai has not had an easy time financially but the military government realises that keeping it on track for modernisation is essential to its survival, and Thailand’s continued tourist trade, which accounts for almost a third of the countries annual income.

HS-TWA is leased from AerCap.
