Thai Airways to replace 30 large aircraft over 5 years

Thai’s chairman said the airline is in talks with Boeing and Airbus on the best deal to replace its older 777’s, 744’s and A330’s.  The airline has no intention of dropping its A380 fleet which they consider to be vital to their future. 

The 777-9 , 787-10 and A350 family are in contention as is A330Neo.  Thailands government has to approve the plan but its expected to be a formality.
